ShareaSpot ("we", "us", or "our") operates this application. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

When you create an account we collect your username and email address. When you share a spot we collect the content you provide, including photos, text descriptions, and location information. We do not collect precise device location without your explicit input.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to operate the ShareaSpot service — displaying your posts to other users, enabling social features such as follows and likes, and sending in-app notifications. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Photos and Content

Photos you upload are stored on our servers and displayed publicly to other ShareaSpot users. Do not upload photos containing sensitive personal information. You retain ownership of content you post.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. Deleting your account permanently removes all your posts, photos, and personal information from our servers within 30 days.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes and never in plain text.

Acceptable Use

You may use ShareaSpot to discover and share real-world locations. You agree not to post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that violates the privacy of others. You must be 13 years of age or older to create an account.

Your Content

You retain ownership of photos and descriptions you post. By posting content you grant ShareaSpot a non-exclusive licence to display that content within the app. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not use ShareaSpot to spam other users, impersonate others, scrape data, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, or use the app in any way that could damage or overburden our infrastructure.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.

Limitation of Liability

ShareaSpot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
